About time...

I picked up a 2005 XLT 4x4 Ranger today...33k miles, 2 door, 5 speed, 4.0. And I got a screamin deal on it. I just got home, and its too dark for pics. But I will post some tomorrow after work. Stay tuned...

I've been here awhile---its about time I got a Ranger

Hey all, I've finally managed to pick up a Ranger. Its a 2005 XLT Extended Cab, 2 door, 4x4, 4.0, 5 speed. A few mods came with the truck...a t-bar crank to level it out, and some dark tint...looks to be about 15 percent. I picked it up at a great price, and it only has 33k miles on it. New tires, 255/70/16 Goodyear Wrangler RT/S. They seem small, but look ok on the truck. I don't know how soon I can mod this truck, considering i'm making payments. But by summer I hope to have a nice exhaust on it, and a 3 inch BL with 33's.

I still have my Bronco too. I contemplated selling it, but I think i'm going to keep it. If the time comes where I can't afford both, I will have to sell one...probably the Bronco. Enjoy the pics. I really like the silver!

Yes, the seats are still a bit wet from being detailed. I picked it up last night, right before close. They were detailing it as I signed the papers.

How did you find a 2005 with only 33k miles? The truck looks good, good luck with it.

That dealer sticker needs to go.

Thanks guys. I've been searching for the right Ranger for awhile, and when I saw this one I knew it had to be mine...

I actually had my eye on another truck...that didn't work out. It was a 2003 DWB XLT. 4x4, 4.0, 5 speed, 30K miles (yeah, thats not a typo). The dealer had it priced way low on their website...so I went to check it out to see if it was too good to be true. They claimed the truck had sold...a few hours later I checked their website again, and they had the same exact truck that I went to look at for sale again, only 4k dollars higher then originally posted! I called back, and they claimed the cheap price was a typo. They wouldn't honor it.

But i'm happy with this truck. The exhaust is the original, and it is damn clean.

The dealer sticker will be off the tailgate as soon as I get a chance to take it off.
