nice truck, I see the 3.7 has almost 100 more HP than the 4.0. What kind of price is a new XLT like that with the V6 option and all. Because if you think about it, you are a prime example of why Ford stopped with the Ranger, they can get you into a XLT F150 for about what a Loaded Ranger cost lol...

But yeah it can be a hassle parking a big ol F150, as as far as affording it, they get the same mileage as the Ranger, its just a bigger tank. So it may seem like you are spending more when you fill up because you are filling a bigger tank, but that bigger tank will last longer. Its not a matter of MPGs, but a matter of tank capacity...

since i bought the ranger last august its been in the shop on an average of once a month, the first issue was a rattling rear door, it turned out that the door needed to be replaced, then from there is got worse, it needed an alternator, had electrical issues where when i put on the brakes, every single light in the truck would also turn on, then there was a clunk, that has never been fixed due to the dealer not being able to find it, it even got a new drive shaft at 8000k and that didn't fix it, from there the headlights started to flutter bad, then it sprung an oil leak that requires tearing 80% of the truck apart to find it, so that's a week at the dealer, the weld in the exhaust broke, so it rattles like crazy, the air compressor started grinding, the transmission is slipping, there's a new clunk in the front end, pretty sure that the steering box is going due to the excessive wheel play, all this before 19000k, and this truck has never been bagged!! so going by all the stuff wrong with the truck and having to come back multiple times to find those problems, i traded it in

Very true, if you want a new truck you wont find an F150 for 18k. But shoot a brand new Ranger equipped like an FX4 or so was 25k plus....
