A few pics out by the lake

Thanks guys. It's already lowered 2/2, and the only thing I really want to change is to get 245/60 tires when my 235/70s wear out (which is coming soon) and get a l/s unit (probably trac-loc) for the rearend. I hook up a trailer for my quad and take this thing out on the dunes to go camping, and any lower would probably keep me on the pavement. I should probably get a bigger 4wd truck, but there is just something about this thing that makes me want to keep it all the time.

That would be the mustang wranglers' all ford show and swap meet at the washington county fairgrounds. Going to be the VFO gtg for the month. I should probably post it up in the events forum in case anyone else is interested, as there is a club participation award up for grabs again.

They sand/graveled most of the roads around here this winter when it was all nasty. The first time I have ever seen it that snowy/icy for that long on the valley floor, and I'm almost 20 years old. I've never seen sanded roads this low, just some chemical de-icer sometimes. The debris being kicked up off the other cars just hammered the crap out of the cheap paint I used when I painted the whole truck last summer. I sprayed good stuff this time, so it should last forever.
Thanks for all the compliments. I did all the work myself, except for actually painting on the pinstriping. I like custom rides better when the owner has some real work in it, not a checkbook hot-rod or an autozone special.

Yes sir, real spray guns only around my house. We have some rattlecans, but the results are never as good as what can be had if you can spray with a gun. I like to think it's "better than factory" but I never actually saw the factory paint in decent condition on this truck. I bought it half done (thread in sig). I know with Imron clear, the durability should be better than factory.
