mocked up my KC lights on it.. Those are the ones I am planning to put behidn the grill.. interestingly enough, the mounts said it only fits 4.5" lights.. and these are 8" lights, so it works perfectly

Going to be mounted on my front grill area... I like it lots so far Awful tempted to toss it on my truck right now, even though its 10:30 at night

Shane knows my concern with 'em being on till then Other then that.. let me find my tow hooks so I can pull the bolts off o those to remount this, and I'll let you all know//see how it goes

Yep.. done! :-D And no, those arent oil leaks.. it is actually wet out and I was half laying in a puddle while installing this

Brand:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ksid=p3907.m32

As you can tell, I pulled off the lights.. and the license plate re-mounts (wont be needing them) .. and found out that the directions were slightly wrong.. this actually mounts to the bumper mounts, and not the tow hook mounts.. so you can still use towhooks with this installed

I do have a 3" bodylift, which is surprising, as my bumper would have been in the way otherwise, slight concern for anyone doing it on their own.. may need to trim the valance a bit to get it installed. I plan on making some brackets to sit it where it should be, and going to be spraying the bolts with black paint to hide them And... here up coming, probably next week, I am getting my valance painted up finally to match my fender flares.. with flash on my camera, you can see the big difference between the flares I painted, and my valance stock grey. :-D

Ugh, I really need to get my damn marker light fixed... its always been fogged up by the way, just too damn lazy to bake it and re-seal it..!

That looks sweet as he&^. So what you are saying is this won't fit right unless you have a bodylift? When you gonna mount those lights?

I will wait till morning for more.. a Flash photo really is crap for any vehicle.. as it makes things to bright and shiny.. relfections throw things off.. hold off till the suns starts coming up, and I'll take 'er out and get some better shots

I honestly dont think it would... You can see how clsoe it is to the valance in the pictures, then subtract 3 inches from the bumper extension, and yeah.. I am pretty positive you would have to trim the plastic valance. It wouldnt be hard to fab up a lower bracket, but of course you dont want things hanging all too low

This is a MUCH better variety then the Westin ones.. the approach angle is barely hampered, as this has a flat mount on the base and immediatly pops right up in front of the valance.

That really blows for me but enough about me. I really like it. I think it looks alot better than the westins. Can't wait to see it with lights on it.

Looks nice! How study does it seem? Did it come with those 'cheap' bolts or did you pick those out? Probably be wise to get some atleast grade 5's on there. Nice to see it mounts to the bumper, i saw it said no tow hooks and steered away.

Like the look! Think a black one would go well on my pickup

Feels sturdy enough to mount lights onto, but you wouldnt want to go standing on the thing...

Tow hooks are still able to be used if you have a 3:" bodylift and reverse your tow hook mounts.. it uses the existing far outside bumper mounts, so there is plenty of play room under there.

As for teh bolts, I'm tempted to jsut head tot the hardware store and get some quick grade 8's and shoot them with some black.. wouldnt take all too long to flip everything around and change it up a bit

Wont the lights cover up your tow hooks?

I pulled those off a while back.. I actually plan on going the other route and getting a front tow hitch installed. I "could" re-install the tow hooks, but it would require mounting them upside down, and fabbing a bracket to do that... and since I dont have the resources right now.. they will be kept off

looks like you can still get a winch in there, but that might wreck the lights if you actually have to use it...
