I love it! but you better keep it! You have a great piece of mustang cobra history, keep it mint and you will have something worth more in years to come.

if you knew why those wheels are on it or why they are special then you might.

yes they are not the coolest wheels but they are a very special foxbody wheel. in chrome it meh, but silver black or gunmetal they look good

it also has a lowering kit and a CAI, neither of which i believe came on the mustang... but it looks like it needs a tune up. very few people, will put the grey ford distributer cap back on, most people would put a red MSD, brown/beige Accel, or a blue one, but i forget who makes the blue ones...

those wires are also stock

Not bad, I'd like it more if it was back to near 100% original, and the I believe it would sell for more.

Good/mint condition foxes (let a lone Cobras) are gaining value every day.

yah i know, thats why i put mostly stock, i can have it back to 100% original in like 4 hours. The car had a tune up at 40k-with ford motorsport wires in black and the cap is from ford, as is the rotor underneath it, i kept it as original as i could. the BBK intake was free and so was that pro-m mass air meter, so thats why those are on, and i couldnt handle the stock ride height. ALL the oem parts are in my garage.

those mass air sensor housings are best bang for their bucks on fox mustang, i gained probably 2/10ths of a second in the 1/4 when i put my 73mm on mine, i think mine was a C&L 73mm, the only other thing to do is the throttle body it's self, 76 or 78mm, and a MAF to match, then your heads are the most restrictive...

not sure what the difference between the 93 svt's are, and my 89 LX 5L but i know it only amounts to 10 hp... which the MAF on mine made up for... roughly 15-20 on my car...

i tihnk someone said it was the cam, a little more aggressive on the SVT's, but i'm not 100% i bet you didn't know that there were 86-92 cobras also, but only in canada

All they were is an appearance package though, nothing to shout about. We never got the 93' Cobra R in Canada though.

93 cobras had gt40 iron heads, the cobra (basically the gt40) upper and lower intake,24lb injectors, a different grind on the cam, crane 1.7 rockers, world class t5, 4 wheels discs, a different cpu (which is crap when you start to mod them) im prob forgetting something- and then all the little bs interior options that were cobra specific. Ive had this car since i was 18, im 27 now-its been really hard not to mess with it-

And now you have something thats on everyones wish list.

Your an idiot if you get rid of it, that thing is priceless. Even more is the the fact that you resisted the urge to modify it to where its like 90% of the current fox bodys i see.

just my .02

Great looking car for sure. I liked that body style. Seemed back in day everyone had a 5.0 in the parking lot at school.

true :( but most american's don't know that there is a difference

for everyone who is confused about what i am talking about, and how adrian so nicely let the cat out of the bag... the pre-93 cobras, were canadian market GT's with a slightly different package, not entirely sure what the difference was, we had GT's and cobras, and everyone who owned a cobra, would even admit it's the same as a gt, i think it's a slightly different rear deck spoiler and maybe different interior colour scheme

AFAIK, the Cobra GT in canada is the same car as the american GT (with canadian specific things that all mustangs had, KPH speedometers, I think DRL's towards the end of the run, etc.) I have heard several things over the years as to the reasoning behind this from, Ford having to release the name every so often to keep it in their arsenal, or that Carrol Shelby wouldn't allow it to be used on the "nothing special" cars in america. IThe wings are the same as the stock American ones. Their is also some discrepency as to whether the Cobra Decal was applied at the factory or just thrown into the dealer prep bag. This I was told is why som GT's have it and some don't in Canada. Some dealers just threw it away. These were all rumors I heard ten years ago when I used to give a crap about all this stuff LOL. Maybe with the net all this stuff has been figured out by now.

Oh and BTW, I love the Turbine style wheels, But I grew up in the 80's when that was the pinnacle of cool!
