35" Baja Claw TCCs

I haven't done anything with my ranger other than drive it the past few years so haven't been on the board much. I put some new tires on a few weeks ago so decided to post them up incase anyone else is considering the newer style baja claw TCCs. They came out about a year ago and are a bit different than the old style. Different sidewall and the blocs are broken down smaller with more siping. I came across a this set mounted on MT 15x10s off a jeep so picked them up. I have been running them a few weeks now and am pretty happy with them on the road. I was used to the 38s after running them the past 3 years and was surprised acceleration didn't change much , but they do track better being only 12.5 vs 15.5 wide and stop better. They are pretty decent on the road overall. I still like the look of the 18s and larger tires better so and am not sure if I will sell them or keep them around for the summer.

It looked pretty silly at first, so I slacked the tbars about 3" so they are about 2" lower than stock. I took the shackles out to lower the back 2"

Lowered down, probably about 4-5" lift over stock now.

And a pic from a few weeks ago to compare with

Yeah, me too, the 38s really made it stand out. The tread is low though so not sure if I will keep them or not. I like the 18s they are on so may sell the ATZs off them and get something else mounted.

No, but it never goes off the pavement except the beach and only does 10k a year. There is no way I would try and off road with tires that large, but rolling down the highway they were fine.

Yeah, I was debating 33s so glad I stayed with 35s unless I take more lift off.

Ah man I loved the truck on the bigger tires.

Still a sexy truck regardless though
