Scosche IPFMRDS iPod Adapter
For anybody looking for a great iPod adapter, I would HIGHLY recommend this unit! I have the OEM Pioneer 6-disc system in my truck, so an RF adapter was really my only option without replacing everything. Granted, it's a little on the pricey side at @150 bucks from Crutchfield, but the sound quality is excellent! Instead of being the typical RF transmitter, this one hooks in-line with the radio's antenna-so in theory it's a more-direct connection with none of the usual RF transmitter sound-quality issues. Believe me-I've tried a bunch of different RF iPod adapters-the money that i wasted on those would have paid for this Scosche unit twice over! My stereo isn't RDS-equipped, so that feature of the adapter is pretty much wasted on me (song titles and artist displayed on head unit), but once you hit the preset for the iPod, hit play on the iPod and it's like putting in a CD-it's that good! No messing around with finding an unused station on the radio-this bad boy over powers any station. I was literally listening to a local station on 88.7, punched-in the iPod, and it was like the radio station never existed.

I would buy one of the USA spec units. Brian has one that he uses with his iPhone and it was the same price from Crutchfield. It lets you control the phone from the headunit as well.

Heres a link to where we discussed it on FTN. It just plugs into the back of the stereo, no messing with the antenna or anything.
