Despite the BS from the one nextel place I went to. I went to another one in my town and got much better service. I decided to ditch cingular and get nextel. And all ive got to say is "awesome". Direct connecting people is great. The reception is about the same as cingular. A dead area with cingular was also dead area with nextel. Ive only had nextel for 4 days but im highly impressed. My friends got a good laugh when i asked them to show me how to beep someone. So yah, its awesome. I just cant wait to get my Motorola I860 from e-bay. Just wanted to share

I just did the same...nextel is the shiznittle bam

cingular charged me 187 dollars in overage and wouldn't cut it down a penny. so i told them i was no longer with them.

went to nextel store near me...got the NEW i870 and it is SICK...i love it.

reception isn't 100% of what cingular was...but what nextel lacks for it picks up with DC and off network walkie talkie, plus the phone is SICK

pretty much...the good outweighs the bad


ohhhhh and i get a 10% discount from nextel for working to who i work for :)

Yah I know about cingular. I had an 800 minute plan, I usually used 500 or 600. Didnt go over once except one month I went 200 minutes over. They wouldnt cut me a break even though it was just one time I went over in years. It ticked me off.

Just ordered my new I560 tonight. Don't use all the "fancy" features of the cell phone much, but have to have that Mil 810 spec for the dust vibration etc. I have beat the crap out of the two nextel phones I have had with absolutely no problems. I have had nothing but great service and coverage has only gotten better with time. I plan on keep em for a loooooong time.

Why would they cut you a break?

You went over what you paid for, are they suppose to give you extra minutes to be nice?

I know they prolly got ya to pay an extra $100 from that

That is the way theese places really make the money

Yup, same cell phone number. It ported over in like 30 minutes, went through quick.

same with me. it took them about a half our too!

nextel i'm impressed with...DC is the ****

the service on the i870...not to great.

it fades in and out a lot...compared to the i850 i had for 2 days

i'm usually around to answer...just scream something obnoxious then alert me...thats what usually works
