Vendor gripe \ snippet from other closed thread

I hope we can still flame Vendors for tryping to sell overpriced goods without getting banned.

Also; I don't think it's a members responsibility to have to PM a vendor. It should be your responsibility to not allow them to d**k us with the product their trying to push. New members could easily fall into a vendors trap.

I agree. It seems like you need to be very careful with what you say or you will get banned.

Right now there is only one vendor on Ranger-forums, and it looks like they own it, so I don't think complaining about it wil do anything. If you don't like it leave. I hold no ill fellings towards the guy that bought this site and what he is doing with it. I am disappointed in Christian for selling the site, but if you are angry all you can really do is look to another forum.

The title of this thread is VENDOR GRIPE not R/F OWNER GRIPE. I'm not venting about the owner of this site. I'm just suggesting he watch what he allows vendors to sell on his site. It's like the owner of a home allowing someone to sell crack out of it.

In his defense maybe he knows nothing about lifts or torsion keys? Maybe he thought that sounded like a good price cause he either

A: Doesn't own a RBV

B: Doesn't have a model with Torsion bars.

I am giving him the benefit of the doubt that he was just ignorant on the subject. If I owned the site and a vendor came to me with a lowering kit and wanted X amount of dollars more than what its worth, I would say "sounds good to me, I know nothing about lowering a ranger"

Just a thought.

Thanks trent, i was going to say, i Know there are two vendors, and Im pretty sure the guy from ORW doesnt own the site lol, wasnt sure about the other one though.

But I will agree( and this is the first and LAST time i will complain about anything the mods do on this site), it does seem like they are going a little ban happy.. But, I do not know if they are trying to resolve this with the person first before banning them or just flat out banning them on the first offense.. IF its the latter, than I may have to re-think my contributor status..

that is incorrect. you can disagree with us all you want and have a casual conversation.

the people that were banned were banned for the same reason not once, not twice, but sometimes 3 times, yet they come back and start the same crap. thus they are gone for good.

personal attacks and disagreeing with the staff are two very different things.
