I have a 2011 Ford Ranger Sport with approximately 109K on it. My engine warning light has suddenly gone on and is staying on. When I cross reference, the manual it makes reference to possible emissions issue etc. My gas cap is secure and the truck drives fine. Should I just ignore this and keep on trucking? I don't want to go to the dealer and have it checked out because we all know that will be ka-ching, ka-ching, ka-ching for something that might not even be important.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

List doesn't have all the codes just some of the most common, each code means something different, which is why there are several codes for one device/sensor
