Yeah square tube rides like crap at higher speeds. And what mine will mostly be used for is the snow and some trails but a lot of going up to the mtn...

Im down to pay for a quality driveline that's not gonna break for what I'm gonna do with it

Getting closer and closer... Tomorrow I go and pick up my toyota joint for the steering setup (Thanks to Zach for the help) and Also going to get my U-bolts and spring plates (Which came in today but I didn't have time to get there after work). The other thing that should be here tomorrow are my 1-ton TRE's for the tie rod and drag link.

BUT, today my other leaf spring came from Evan so I now have both rear leafs, and my PSC 17mm fitting came... So all that's left really is some odds and ends like the front grade 8 hardware and some new lug nuts all around since some are different sizes (I think).

Yeah Zach, I have both of them 16mm and 17mm and the 90° push lock fitting... I just need the one end pressed on the line when I cut it to length and the 90° fitting for the pressure inlet... But that's all gonna happen when I cut the pressure inlet line

Hey Trevor, by any chance could you compile a list either before you fully start your SAS or after you finish it? Model/year of steering box, fittings, hoses, springs, shackles, etc.. It's all be good info for the folks here, and I'd appreciate it as well..

GB :)

Welp, got two things left to get:

Banjo bolts - copper washers
Grade 8 hardware

Picked up the right TRE's today along with the u-bolts and spring plates and extra spring bushings from my buddy's shop... Also cut some sleeves for my bushings at work today...

Thinking about going to get my banjo bolts tonight and tomorrow after work going to get the hardware after I figure out exactly what I'll need... People who have run 63's, when you moved the front hangar forward, what size bolts did you use to bolt the hangar back to the frame?? I'm gonna bolt it and also run some small stitches on the outside of the hangar for extra security...

The daily driver should be up and running tonight, I hope, but if not tomorrow for sure.

Tomorrow night, I'll post a list of what I'm using.

theres 2 things i would want. Be able to re-use the stock bumper ( not a fan of fabbed ones). I would have custom springs made locally at Palm Beach spring with a bit more arch to resemble an f350 lift ya know. IMO the flatter leafs look strange. Def like you tho. tru pavement pounder. maybe some sand dunes. no mud or trails. Plus I would do Dual shocks.

duals are garbage, u just need a good shock like a fox 2.5 or a bilstien 7100. keeps the bling factor up and the ride really good. also if you went with an arced spring you would end up really tall. the spring would have to be "flat-ish" but, yeah, get the 5.0 purring then sas that thing!

tre- GET ON IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So you want a mud truck with 50" of lift and
More shocks than a dealership carries? Mud trucks are gay and your 2wd which is even gayer. Stick to your fabtech spindles

Pretty sure he said he only does street driving and some sand, not mud or trails. It's his truck, he can do whatever he likes regardless of your opinion. And he has a hot gf, mark wins! Lol

Trevor needs to stop teasing us and do this already, the conversation has been sidetracked and turned hostile.
