TrePaul86's SAS Build-up

Yeah it's so much nicer than it was last week. Still needs a panhard, got some slight movement side to side still, but otherwise just the standard bump steer, even then it's not bad... Once my hydro goes on, it's gonna be a smooth biotch! lol

Welp, it's been a few days time to update!
So my buddy and I cut out the brackets for the panhard, did some measuring, and tacked it all up. Checked it all, then welded it out both lower and upper panhard brackets, then did the panhard itself. Popped it in, took it for a test run down the road. HOLY HELL.
I couldn't believe how responsive my steering is now. Just turning flat pavement in his shop lock to lock was a dead give away it was working. Leafs no longer shift and everything is nice and tight yet not limited. Running 5/8" heims on both ends with a custom misalignment spacer (basically bushing sleeve material since I don't need the angle from the heim that a standard misalignment gives you). A lot of stress has been taken off the steering box now, and I have no bump steer or wobble I was having in the previous week or two. Runs from outside the frame to the passenger side spring plate since on the waggy 44, there's barely enough room for a shock mount on that passenger side. Matched my angle of the drag link at 4.5* and it's sitting directly over the axle where it should be. I'll get some pics up tomorrow before I head out to go camping and probably snap some pics there as well!
Just had to throw that out there, bump the thread
