Still got some bump steer... not quite sure why tho... Gonna look into it a lil later today. Noticed it this morning on my way to work on a road that had a few lot holes on it.
I'm really not happy about what the lean is doing to that front leaf. It's making my shackle hit the hangar over speed bumps.
Not too sure what else I could do to fix my shackle angle either...

oh yeah. Forgot you did that.... Another idea would be an angled shackle that maintains the current straight line distance, but has an angle in it to keep the shackle from hitting the hanger.

So I'm thinking about taking my Bilstein's I'm running up front, back, to my buddy's shop.... Exchanging them for these:
Fox 2.0 Pro Series 12" Travel Emulsion Shock- .625 Shaft
With that setup in the front, I can pressurize one side more than the other to set my shackles at the same angle, and eliminate the front block I'm using temporarily to set ride height. Those 2.0's go up to 200psi... I'm not sure how well it would work, but it's gotta be better than the bilstein's I have now.

I know it's not used to set suspension and ride height, but it can control how much weight it takes to dampen the shock, if that makes sense. That's what I was told tonight. Works along the same lines...

Oh and here's a few more I took today, while I was transporting an old school Miller TIG machine from work my buddy got for a steal cuz we wanted it outta the shop! lol

yeah kinda. it will work more at static ride height than taking a hit offroad. the shock will still be the same speed inside. it will change some but not much. I say yes it will fix your lean problem as far as looks go. BTW looks great with the bumper on! looks like a great ride height outcome

I'm more concerned about the shackle hitting the hangar it's sitting in more so than ride height, but at this point, they're going hand in hand. If it's at level ride height, it's gonna hit the hangar, if it's got the lean goin, it's not even close to the hangar like the passenger side... It really sucks!

yeah if it continues to pose a problem you may have to re-design the hanger with the bolt mount lower set than the brace/boxed area the goes across. or have it flare out further than the boxed area. or a shackle with some curve to it. or would a smaller mini shackle work? might bring your height down an inch or so but that could be enough to shorten the path it takes.

Unfortunately I don't think the shock you listed will work the way you think it will. If I know my terminology, an emulsion shock is the same type as the Bilstein you have. This type of shock with a higher pressure will simply have a stiffer compression, equating to a much harsher ride.
I truly think your best long-term option to fix the ever-vexing Ranger lean is to following with what Zach mentioned with relocating/redistributing the gas tank weight. I say this bcuz I ran into the exact same issue with my truck, and after much pondering (as you are doing now), I just decided to leave it. If you went with a custom leaf with the same spring rate as you currently have, just with a bit more lift, when the tank is more empty than full, the driver's side will sit awkwardly higher, just as it sits awkwardly lower now.
Again, this is just my opinion.

What if I just went with a stiffer spring rate for the drivers side? I know that\'s not ideal either, but I\'m not going to be doing much other than snow wheelin and daily driving it.
I really appreciate your opinion tho Kev, I\'ve read over your sas threads a thousand times... especially beofre I even started. And thanks for the compliment. Its my first sas, and my buddys first ranger sas. It was a challenge to both of us, but cool to actually put mine and his fab skills to work. I\'m half tempted to rip out those leafs and c/o it for the simple fact of the removal of the shackles and ride quality!
Now one thing I did think about was Sky makes a Toyota 9\" front leaf spring. That may be Damn near perfect to run a small shackle up front if I even run one at all. Since. Etween my front leafs and the shackle I\'m sitting at roughly 9\"

Trevor, the shock idea may work a little bit but that is not what it is intended for. You have to realize you are trying to accommodate for probably 500ish pounds difference on that corner alone. Its tough to do. I change the spring preload on my truck over 1 inch different than the passenger side and even i have a fuel tank in the center. So its not just that. you have the driver, column, steering box, battery, abs, booster, master cylinder etc the list goes on. it is a bunch of weight on that one corner alone. If i had the exact answer i would certainly give it out but its tough to battle on a coil suspension let alone a non adjustable leaf spring suspension. I am not trying to dog the setup at all, because honestly is looks awesome and you guys did a great job on it. This is just something hard to correct and something we take for granted on the IFS setup and even i do on my coilover setup.

How does that sound? Just pressurize the drivers side with the fox's to keep that side up and relieve some pressure off the leaf up front. Cuz its not so much the 63" in the rear that's sagging as much as its the trail gear up front.
