Cuz I haven't touched the rears yet. Im gonna finish the front before I start on the rear. Get steering set up right after caster correcting it so I can run hi-steer and set up the shaft and brake lines. A lot more fab work comes into play when you push the axle forward like that... My steering box is basically touching the body mount...

I've been saying it the last few days... but sunday will be the day we start to finish up the front. Make the steering shaft, run the drag link and tie rod, weld up everything in the front that needs welded up (ie: everything only tacked in places ATM), run the brake lines and adapters and trim the bumper valence so we can get that back on. Also take off my ps lines to have the one fitting pressed on so that can be bolted up and bled once its all done. Monday I should be getting wheel spacers for the fronts to match what I'm doing in the rear to widen it out.
Sunday I'll be buying some factory lugs foe the rear and some red lock tire for the adapters as well. If we get the front all done I'll throw the adapters on the rear to figure out what size spacers I need to run in the front to have it match the rear.
Monday-Tuesday will probably be spent working on the rear 63's and making sure my driveline angle is ok and long enough... if not its to the shop to get some new perches to change my pinion angle or buy a bigger degree shim.
Now that my pinion angle is set right up front, I can buy a XJ shaft and just buy the long travel slip yoke/spline and be set for a front driveline in no time!

I don't have a million dollar drive shaft, nor will i ever have one. The one I was talking about is a high angle long travel shaft for $375. That's cheap and building it right at the same time.
Like Donny said though, to each his own. I'd just rather spend the money and never worry about anything happening to my driveline or it not working on me due to angles a square tube can't reach.

dude, a square Dl is legit. big deal its not "sema" cool. but it works. and well. i had one in my runner and did 60 in snow and never had a vibration. matter of fact the only thing i ever broke up front was the 8mm bolts for mounting the Dl to the yoke. if you use seamless tubing it super strong and wont rattle.
