I just bought a 97 and I was wondering if anyone has upgraded their tailgate handle to a locking one or is there another solution for a locking tailgate?

If you're looking for a way to keep your tailgate from being stolen, just put a hose clamp around the pivot on the passenger side. If you're looking to keep your tailgate closed and people from opening it, you'll have to buy something to lock the handle from being moved.
