Progess report: pulled it out and took a few pics

I've been working on reassembly on the 99 project. Its mostly complete now. I will be needing tires and have a few bugs to sort out. Gas gauge stuck on full, abs light wit code 29, CEL light no codes yet, Still need the 3rd mount for the front dif, install front drive shaft, bed & tail light liner and radio...think thats it. BTW I am not happy with the paint-might do some more paint work.

yeah looks like it either doesn't match in some areas, but either way needs to be color sanded and rubbed.
But.. overall, nice work looks good for what you've had to do

Well thats what happens when you buy cheap paint. It doesn't cover, its kinda transparent. Yeah the color looks different where the red, white & primer was(dark & light spots). I wanted to get it together so I decided to just finish it then go back and fix it.

You've done a good job on it. That's a lot of work, but it'll be sweet in the end.

Thanks, I bought the trucks in nov/dec but didn't really get much done until after the first of the year. I still haven't even driven it other than down my street and back. Just fast enough to go through all the gears. Seemed to run fine. I am working on getting some tires for it. Might have a set of 9.50 at's lined up. Once I get tires I am going to drive it some and work the bugs out...who knows maybe the black one will go up for sale...or both...lol
