lol... I really haven't had much time to work on it. I did the cab swap over the weekend and only worked on it til it got dark last night. Then I unbolted the gold bed from the 2wd frame for the other project. I got most of one side sanded with 2000 grit last night. I have a couple scratches to fix too due to walking past it with a front bumper in my hand and loading a seat on the tailgate and the bracket went under and scratched it#$@^#$@$^#@ oh well shi* happens...lol The title should be back any day so I can sell it. I might even drive it for a few days.

Well I'm going to call it done ...pretty much. I just need to do a little interior cleaning, a quick touch up on a couple spots and maybe a crank on the tbars. I drove it to work today and it ran great. Its actually really quiet, atleast quieter than the dsg one. Anyway I took a few pics this evening.

That turned out good. Did you get any orange peel effect in the paint?

Yeah there is some orange peel but what the hell, it isn't like I have a paint booth with good lighting.

That's what I was hoping to avoid needing if I ever got a spray gun. Currently I'm painting my new valance, and all I've got to use is Duplicolor spray paint.

I get aggrevated because its like one paint job I do it comes out smooth then the next has orange peel. I think my issue is lighting. I have pretty good luck when I'm just painting parts, they usually come out smooth.
