It's not your head you have to worry about, it's your internal organs. I've heard Jacob's system in person and you can't really stand next to the truck or else your organs shake. lol.

That would feel..... interesting...... to say the least.

I hear that heavy bass also affects your heart beat rhythm too, like it tries to sync with the beat.

Well the new alternator pulley showed up today. Got the old one off and compare them. Just a bit of difference. Old on top new on bottom.

Putting the new pulley on fixed my voltage issue at idle for sure. Pretty happy now.

Then got it all back together and put on my modified K&N CAI instead of just the tube.

Didn't even think about that lol. That being said, I've seen normal coolant that looked that dirty in a friends rig that gets wheeled a lot

For him, I'd recommend a flush product and some new coolant. Sounds like something is dirty.

I think muddy water got in through the cap. We flushed it out and haven't seen any problems develop. I flush my coolant about once a year.

I usually go by color. When it starts changing (or every three years) then I change it. Once in a while I also take a sample in a water bottle and hold it up to some bright light, see how it's doing and continue as necessary.

I actually just flushed my coolant a couple months ago. What you're seeing is dirt on the outside of the resivoir. Inside is all pretty and new looking.

You guys could be like me and have a heater hose come off and dump almost all of your coolant for you. I keep telling myself I need to flush my coolant, but my truck already did that for me this year. lol.

Here's a few shots from today.

Not too bad of flex

Then I got stuck. Thankfully Shaun was there to tug me down. Darn hitch hung up. Rule 1 for doing stupid things, take off your hitch.

Ended up leaving my mark on Lake Wales.

I posted this in the chat box, but wanted to put it here too for the record.
Used trans was $250 on craigslist. Then the company that screwed me got $330 for the 4x4 swap shaft and extension housing. Then that same company got another $30 plus my original shaft and $60 shipping. Now I'm sending the whole unit out to Oklahoma to get professionally rebuilt and shipped back which is running me $1070 including shipping. I'm so tired of dumping money into this transmission.

Word to the wise, NEVER use competition transmission in Canyon Country, CA. The owner is a liar. Then told me it's not his fault they only machined 2 of the 3 areas that needed to be done because "I didn't see it either". Who tells the customer that? Like seriously. I paid to ship it to them and they can't even measure all the places on the shaft to make sure they're the same between the 2? Hopefully this headache ends today.

Little update pictures from today. Bye bye trans!

Next time I see it, it'll be painted and 4x4. Finally. Now I need to get the axles finished.

Damn you guys and your big wheels. LooKS so nice on these trucks. Everybody, and I mean everybody, had dc-1's, soft 8's, or bajas, like myself when I was around- generation edge days.
Big wheel/tire setups that a couple of you guys are running fit the truck just right. Nice work.
