It might be just the pictures, but it looks like you have the wrong lug nuts on. I think those wheels use a washer type nut, not the conical ones like you have on. I would check to make sure. Only reason i bought it up is because a friend wrecked his low mileage svo at lrp because of the same thing.

From the picture I can swear those are the wrong nuts. If you can take a closer one, it would put me at ease. Don't want to see you wreck that thing.

It takes the acorn style nuts. Old school mag wheels take the step w/ washer style nuts. Plus Mustangs and Rangers are both lug-centric, thus requiring an acorn style nut.

Ummm, because it's lowered it's called little, and because i'm doing an edge front end and basically have teh Edge interior it's called an Edge.

And no, Edges aren't a prerunner set up. They just have body colored bumpers and some other stuff. the 2wd Edges came with the 4wd suspension in the front.

Any one have experience with it? It is going into my thunderform box. I was told it'll hit harder slash be an upgrade to what i have right meow in my truck.

So on the rear brake conversion, are those Cobra's or GT? Will wither work? I'm so doing that swap next. My brakes hate my 33x15.5 Swampers lol. What about the proportioning valve? Did you swap to an explorer master cyl? Thanks.

They are Cobra rear brakes. Either the Cobra or the GT/V6 will work. The only difference is that the Cobra's are 12inch vented rotors, whereas the GT/V6 are 10inch solid rotors. I'd get the cobras.
And no, no proportioning valve is needed. And no master cylinder swappage. If i did, I'd go for the F250 because i hear it is lots bigger (the 4x4 guys run them...)

Cool thanks. I think I'm going to the yard this weekend lol. So I'd need the caliper bracket, calipers, rotors. What about e-brake cable and brake lines?

Yup, you basically need everything that is disc related bake there.

Caliper and rotors
Axle bracket
Anti-moan bracket (although not necessary, i believe Ford put it there for a reason)
Brake lines i'd buy new or get universal SS for more bling.
ebrake i used my stock ones. Just gotta take them off the drums.
Again, a super easy swap. I scored a GT set up for dirst cheap from a yard. Although i'd go with new/reman'd calipers for safety.

Great, that's what I'm planning to do. Go to the yard for all the brackets & hardware, and get new rotor caplipers and pads from the parts store. Thanks for the info!

No problem. You'll probably find a GT, but the cobra and the GT calipers are the same. don't pay more for a cobra. Good luck with the project, keep us updated!
rear discs get all the hawt gurls.

Oh, you'll have to pull the axles, so make sure to bring something to take the diff cover off and everything else.

Been looking at a 2.5l at a junkyard to start my build. Not sure if i'm gonig to get it. So i decided to work on the TC engine:

Empty block!...cause i pulled the pistons/rods. You can really see the crosshatching:

All of teh pistons had the same scratches on the same side. should i be worried?:

Oh, and i was rebuilt!! All the rods had stamps on them. I believe this to be good:

I'll try and get pictures of the 2.5 at the junkyard. 125 and i pull it, its mine. Still not sure if i should do it yet...we will see...
