Hows the light bar holding up? The glass in one of my lights broke(HFT lights) and im thinking of going with ~20" LED double row
yall suck!

its mid 20's here.

as for the light, rigid claims it shatter proof. ive seen these lights shot at and still work with a hole clean through. im considering buying a 50" based on what ive had for results on the 20. and i can get it for like 1250 plus tax lol.

Ive seen more rigid failures over the other brands so if you are going to spend that much id look into baja designs or vision-x xtreme xmitter low pro

well i can say good things about rigid. I just received a pre-paid package slip to mail my light to them and have it repaired. turnaround time is 2 weeks. I expressed some concern having to spend $50+ on shipping just to have it warrantied and they stepped up to the plate to send it across the border to Arizona.

I'm happy to buy from them again, and i WILL be doing so if/when i get a roof bar. they clearly stand behind their lights, and go the extra mile to help me out.

heres light specs PS.

rigid 10"

(my light)

50"

vision-x xtreme xmitter low pro

vision x spot "

vision x "combo" "

just looking at that i can see why my buddys 4 lights arent as bright as my one bar. not starting a debate, just saying if your really gonna compare, do all the homework.

Lol i have seen them all in person and have done plenty of homework. Rigid has to have good customer service or they wouldnt be in business. The 5w vision x line is far brighter. Rigids stats are all proven exaggerations. That and i cant even tell you how many ive seen fail

And you are comparing a double row to a single row.

even their double stack 10 watt doesnt impress me.

regardless, the rigid i love, and hate having to remove it from the truck. its on its way tonight to arizona.

they are 8" stroke. i had fox set them up to camburgs 5.5 spec so they should be good to go out of the box. those are going up front, ill probably run 14" ones out back. im using camburgs 2.0 kit.

so far i only need one more order and ill have everything. then its just misc stuff like brakes and limit straps.

axle swap kit.

Starting some silverlake prep. Spring cleaning and painting of the frame has started. took it down to bare steel and i was pleased to see the frame is like new.

I pick up the steel for my frame next weekend from the looks of it, and i will begin to make the templates to cut out the plates. then i hope to have it fully boxed! should be nice and strong then.

also, i clearanced the upper control arm as the limit strap has stretched and it was hitting the frame. i gained 3/4-1" droop, which im stoked about! More travel!

LED bar is back, so made my own solid mount light brackets. They cam out like 8/10 in my mind. welding with flux core does suck, but gets the job done.

Flux core is messy stuff, pushed me to get a bottle of gas quick.
Hoping to get a 22" bar soon to replace my busted HFT light.

Is it getting warmer up there?

I'd like to see that light in person at the dunes. I really want to get one for both my trucks. and yeah flux is dirty..its amazing what just some gas and new wire will do.

picked up 48 ft of tubing and a 6x10 sheet of 3/16th.

as soon as i can track down a plasma, im going to get the frame plates cut out and welded in. im still waiting for parts, they are already a week late, pushing two so i hope they are on their way shortly.
