my 01 XLT S-cab 2WD V6 3.0 - Lynchburg VA $6500

Hey everyone,

just put up my XLT for sale on CL. Here is my CL listing: 2001 Ford Ranger XLT supercab

it's got brand new tires, gets good mileage for a ranger, rides great, runs excellent, tranny is strong and shifts smooth as butter. well maintained and want to pass it along to someone here who will take care of it.

Also, as far as posting it here, I'll cut a bit of a deal to members here. Everything inclusive for the 6500 and i can still get you the MT classic lock 15x8 rims and suspension parts I recently bought for 600 extra (not making anything there, that's 300 for the rims and almost 300 for the parts).

Make an offer! I can also drive a bit but will cost depending on how far. I have pics in my profile but if you would like a few more just ask. thanks for looking and don't be afraid to make an offer.

there are a lot of guys on the site with them...if I get a job anytime soon (even if it's at mickyD's) I'll most likely keep the truck and finish the lift.

here are some guys that have the ones I bought: benjamwhit51; crawly1025.

here are some guys with the other kind that look good too: billet03; kristinapic1 (may not be on here but try google); maine 2003; rangerhell70; rangrdangr 4x4; thorny073.

well, I guess the second style is more popular. but IMO both look good for what they are. If you are interested in buying the corners...I'm not looking to sell (sorry) but I know they're available on ebay or maybe from another member?

So I had a guy look at my ranger today. He is interested but said his wife thinks 101k flat is too many miles. I chuckled. My in-laws are sort of like that but usally when it gets up to 150. I'm more of like 200-250 is too much but whatever. vehicles are horrible investments.

Sometime I guess he'll either tell me nay or yay and take it to a mechanic to look it over.

I changed the diff fluid in the rear, well...maybe half. Auto parts didn't have a gasket which blows so I bought a pump. bad idea. I mean, it'll be nice for other jobs but I could hardly get it into the diff to begin with. the biggest PITA with no drain plug. I will NEVER own another vehicle/ranger without changing that cover asap or having a drain!

yeah, seriously. It was like, I like your truck but my wife and I have decided to look for something with lower mileage. I even told him, look, we got it march of 08 and it had like 82 and change. That's an average of 9k a year. Most people put 18-25k a year. They probably want a smaller price tag too...I'm not trying to make a profit. If someone offered me 6200 I'd take it right now. That's the truck and then the new tires. I don't want to go less. I really want to keep it...it's been incredibly reliable. I've not had to do anything to it other than the thermostat...2 dollar ford part right? I mean seriously. But anyways...

I really need to get this moved to the "TRUCKS ONLY" thread. I totally missed that one. haha
