He sold the toyota to fund part of this project...Toyota was gone long before any parts where bought.
I think he shoulda never done this to the ranger...but....he's one of those indecisive ones that can't make up their mind. Shoulda kept the ranger manageable and 'nice' for dd purposes and beat the **** out of a toyota. He wants to sell the ranger and get a diesel to tow? what's he gonna tow? Ranger's all he's got.

I was starting way high on price... I know this. I have had some interest even at that price. I was hoping to get somewhere closer to 20k. I want a diesel because they get good mileage, alot more cab room, bed room, will run forver, tons of power, etc... If it doesn't sell soon, i'm lowering it 5", putting 37's on it, etc.... People don't realize how much time and work was put into this. Besides not getting a d60, I bought pretty much all top notch parts. I personally don't think it's worth my asking price, but gotta start somewhere. I mostly put it up there so it'd be worth more in a trade to someone. It has worked. I've gotten some pretty good offers. I'm just not sure I really wanna part with it. I also have new bumpers and a winch I can put on if I keep it... I just need to find someone to buy my 40's. i wish people wouldn't jump on the bashing bandwagon...

i think people bash because they dont have any clue about what they are talking about.. they dont have the fabrication skills and have no concept of what hard work is worth, therefore they see it as throwing money away.. also. i think people are jealous because they cant even begin to wrap their minds around fabricating something like your truck. it is extremely nice, yes it could have been build differently, but it is not a total loss. with 37s and lower, it will be an incredibly good truck. cory, you know what i think already... its worth more for you to keep it than to sell after all the hard work thats been put into it!! kkeep trying to ditch the 40s and keep huntin for 37s..

thanks carl... Yeah it has taken a ton of time for it to be like this... I KNOW IT'S TOO TALL. THAT'S WHY I'M CHANGING IT. I'm sure glad I had tim (choptechfab) there when I was doing this, instead of someone else. He doesn't take shortcuts. We did stuff right. That's why I believe it's worth 20k.

It probably is worth that much with all the time, parts and the orginial truck. The market for a newer Sas'd ranger probably isn't the biggest though, I think you will have better luck with a trade than a sale. Good luck with it!

i always start way higher then expecting on craigs list/kijiji. you know your never going to get asking, so go higher and settle for wht you actually want, that way you get what you want, and the buyer feels accomplished that they got your price down and didn't pay asking like a sucker. haha good luck with the sale if you do sell...but if you keep it, i think lowering it a bit and going down in tire size might look better....
