2003 Ford Ranger 4.0L Engine, Supercharger, Transmission, BW1354, etc... (IN)

First of no Dibs! I hate Dibs so if your interested you need to PM me or post in this thread.

Little history... 111,500 miles on the engine and transmission. The Engine has had the oil changed every 10k miles with Mobil 1 Synthetics it does not burn any oil at all. Around 108,000 miles I installed the supercharger from Explorer Express which was about a year ago. I dont drive it much at all.

The transmission has had the fluid changed every 20k-25k miles. Around 90k miles I dropped the transmission and installed an upgraded valve body, with multiple shift kits, new servos, seals, torque converter, etc... I will admit I was never really easy on it, but it has never failed either. I dropped it because I felt it needed some improvements for my needs.

The manual transfer case is out of a early 90s explorer. I have no idea on the miles, works good, has the shifter setup everything. Small leak and one of the studs for the balancing wheel broke off from a rock.

This setup really works well. It will just open up and take off. If you dont believe me ask anyone that has seen me at the dunes, it will go... if I could make a rough guess id say over 300hp at the crank easy.

Several selling options... I will part it out, but if someone is interested in the whole thing...

$3500 - 4.0L, Explorer Express supercharger, JBA headers, 5r55e trans, 1356tcase, pcm, Xcal2, all wiring, all engine accessories, MAC intake tube, K&N filter, custom tune from bamachips, etc...

Separate -----

$2400 - Explorer Express Supercharger, everything needed to install, pullies, belts, hoses, injectors, XCAL2, custom tune from Doug at Bamachips, etc... This kit works with 2003 with no EGR or 2004+ with EGR, I have some of that but it may require additional parts, overall this will work on any SOHC 4.0L but may require some research on your own part.

$600 - 2003 SOHC description above, comes with PCM and wiring.

$200 - JBA Headers

$250 - BW1354 Tcase

$450 - 5R55E

I bet that was the easiest engine pull ever.

I hope the front half goes well for you zach. Maybe some 2x5x.250 box steel and make a new frame for whole truck.

Damn thats out of my price range considering I just dropped most of my money on a D44. Guess I need to worry about getting the axle under there rather than converting to 4wd right now.

Did you take this stuff back to Indiana or is it still at Nick's?

Let me see if I can scrape up the money for those headers.

God if you were down here I would take the Engine/tranny/tcase off you. Not the Supercharger.
