2001 Ford Ranger Edge - $4500/ obo (forum member discount inside)
Category: Clean Title
Status: Domestic
I have a 2001 Ford Ranger Edge for sale, in USA - New Hampshire.
Mileage: 180,xxx miles
Engine Size: 4.0L V6
Asking price is $4500/ obo (minus $500 for active forum members)
2001 Ford Ranger Edge Stepside
Extended cab
4x4
Automatic w/ overdrive
4.0L V6
Bright Island Blue Metallic paint
Dark Graphite interior
A/C
Power windows
Power locks
Anti-theft
180,xxx miles
This truck has been very good to me and the ONLY reason I’m selling is to get into a more family-friendly vehicle, otherwise I’d continue to drive it until the wheels fell off.
Class III hitch installed
I have performed all the work on this truck so there aren’t any service records to speak of however I guarantee this vehicle to be in very good mechanical condition. All maintenance and wear items have been kept up to date, air filter, oil changes, lighting, etc
--Parts that have been replaced within the last 4 years:
Brake master cylinder, both front calipers and pads, rebuilt both rear brake systems (wheel cylinders, spring kit, shoes, etc), all four struts, alternator, fan belt and tensioner, battery, right front wheel bearing, plugs and wires, cat-back exhaust (OEM replacement), rear spring shackles
--Mechanical issues:
Needs upper and lower ball joints on both sides
Cruise control stopped working after a certain Nashua Ford dealer performed a recall and would not honor the repairs
Driver’s side “unlock” button has worked intermittently since my purchase however the door unlocks itself when the interior lever is pulled so I viewed that as a non-issue all these years
Will need tires soon. Not down to the wear bars yet but it’s getting close
--Paint and body:
I would rate the exterior a 7 out of 10 but this is always subjective. There are a few small dings and very minor paint chipping in front and the usual spotted rust on the bumpers
--Interior:
Interior is in good shape except the driver’s seat which has the typical Ford vinyl tearing along the outside edge.
No error lights on dash
No issues with 4x4 system
Transmission shifts cleanly both up and down
No leaks and does not consume oil or any other fluids
Rear differential oil changed on 11-9-11
Front differential and transfer case fluids replaced about 20,000 miles ago
Oil and filter every 4000 miles (interval chosen due to the amount of highway driving I do)
I am happy to negotiate repairs at the time of sale as well as offer my discount on replacement parts for up to 3 months after purchase. Additional details can be discussed.
Based on answers I provided, Kelly Blue Book states this truck is in “good” condition and valued at $6825
$4500/ obo (minus $500 for active forum members)
Clean title in hand
Located near Concord, NH
Only trades I will consider is a utility-type 4wd 4-wheeler along with cash.

Couple pics are up.
Taken today but it's been raining here so the truck is a bit dirty.
Once I get all my daughter's car seat and toy stuff out, I'll have interior pics and better exterior pics posted.
Anyone know how I can change the thread title? I went to "Go Advanced" and changed it there but it did not take for some reason.
