1989 Ford Ranger GT - $10,000
Category: Clean Title
Status: Domestic
I have a 1989 Ford Ranger GT for sale, in USA - Alabama.
Mileage: 654 miles
Engine Size: 2.9 v6
Asking price is $10,000
-Well, i never thought it would come to this, but changes on the horizon are coming and it's time to move on. I now have two kids attending college starting next month, and two in jr. high school. Its the same old song with financial aid, we make just past the cut off to qualify, but not enough to pay the way with no problems. Thus, i am offering up my last of it's kind, prolly, 654 mile Ranger GT for sale. i personally purchased this truck new, in 1990 as a left over '89 from what was know then as Talladega Ford in Talladega, Alabama. i have owned it ever since and other than maybe a few days, it has been stored inside its entire life. Still has the original window sticker in the window, with a total price MSRP of $14018.00 after discounts showing. The biggest thing that its ever had done to it, is making it thru the tornados that come thru our neighborhood/state and took down the garage that it was stored in. Any damage on it, is the result of that storm. I have a friend who works at a body shop , who was going to fix the damage for me, but right after i got the truck to him, his manager changed and forbid anyone from doing outside work. he has pretty much done all my paint/body work since 1999 and i wouldnt trust anyone else to do it how i want it done. So the truck has stayed stored and not fixed. photos show all the damaged places. if you need to see anything specific, lmk, and i will accomodate. Now dont expect it for nothing, as this is not a give away. i know it needs body work if you want to keep it a show truck, but for a daily driver, it would suffice, as all the damage is sheet metal. But it is still basically a "new" truck and everything will be took into consideration for the price. If you want to negotiate, please call or pm me and dont discuss your thoughts/ideas/insults for the world to see. try to keep it clean. with that said, please feel free to contact me at shogun93@bellsouth.net or phone at 256-223-9809. thanks
p.s. if you think the pics are out of date, trust me, the truck looks EXACTLY the same now as in the photos. If you just have to see new pics, you need to be serious about the truck.....

Probably around 500$ give or take?
LOL this is such a funny thread, you have a truck that MIGHT have a lot of low mileage value, but OMG its beaten to hell. I normally respect someone elses thread but you need to join us in reality. The very first picture does look really nice though.

Good luck with this even though you'll never get what you want for it. One was just sold in my area with NO body damage with about 5k on it for $4500. Sorry Guy but you better find somebody real stupid if you want 10k for it.

not a bad truck, but c'mon, you need to come down to reality here, ok, so you've got an ultra low mileage truck, but its also got about 5K in body, and paint work that needs to be done, the whole truck will need to be repainted, you will never match the original color, i mean if it was in pristine shape with no dents, and perfect paint, i would 6 tops, but that is in a good economy

I love how people feel like stating the same thing over and over...
Its too bad about the damage man. Its not my truck, and it still made me cringe thinking about it. Buying the truck brand new for the purpose of only storing it, keeping it as clean as new, and practically no miles. Then one day its all destroyed by a storm. No insurance to cover it? I understand you probably didn't have vehicle insurance on it...but what about home owners? Seems like they would cover the damage.
Either way, good luck with the sale. I applaud you for selling a loved hobby to help put your children through college.

It is a nice truck I'm lookin to purchase another ranger but in all serious for money maybe he should look at it to sell parts. I did that with a car I had I made better off doing it that way. I wish him luck I hope he gets atleast 1/2 of what he is asking. In aa few years I will have 2 kids going thru college.

Guys the idea of selling this truck for parts is ludicrous. The whole thing has 600 miles on it. I agree that given the amount of body work needed to be put into it, $10k is too much, but the guy can sell his truck, which he clearly cares for a lot (since it has been stored since damn near Day 1) for however much he wants. It's definitely a rare Ranger, but problem is Ranger's aren't really a collectible vehicle.
Either way good luck with the sale man!

-Rooks, thanks for being a person on this and not just someone who shoots off his mouth, before engaging his brain. i think if most of you would READ and not just start making remarks, i do believe from day one the 10k is an ASKING PRICE!!!! you have to start somewhere, unless your on Ebay, then you go up, not down. nevertheless, for those who have called/pm'ed here are the other requested pics i have, and if you need a current one, i will take one. but really i promise u, its looks exactly now as then.
ranger024x4, the wiper arms and blades are laying in the garage. i took them off to keep the rubber blades from going flat from the pressure on it. that way lasts longer not being used. i also only shut the doors to the first click to keep from pressing the door rubbers flat, and keep them spongy. the headlamps have not been replaced. i think it is just the angle of the lense as most of the time the left is more down to stay out of oncoming eyes, where the right projects more up and out. i hope that answers your questions. anyway here is the pics of under the hood and under the truck. thanks for all your entertaining replies.......
