Wanted: Missing parts for Hurst install (OR)

I bought a used Hurst, but I don't have all the parts to put it in. I need the 3 countersunk screws for the lower adapter plate, and the extra 1/4" spacer plate and the 4 longer bolts for it. Anyone who didn't need it and still has it, I need it. If anybody has the boot for it, that would be cool too, but I can probably find my way around that.

I'd suggest getting together with Trevor or my little brother. Or have me pickup the hardware for ya....there's 4 around here that all have hurst's. The boot can be purchased at pretty much any auto parts store that carriers Spectre stuff(schucks) or Hurst stuff(baxters's). Believe Hurst calls it "Superboot" ?

I think i've got all those extra stuff that I didn't use...like the spacer and the longer bolts. Let me check it out for ya.

Did you get the one off Craigslist?

I did. One of the guys on VFO posted a link, and I raced up there and stole it today before anyone else could get it. I'm gonna call the guy tomorrow to see if he has the 3 mounting bolts, because those are what I'm most worried about finding. Too bad the factory ones you have to take out won't work.

I literally think those 3 that bolt to the trans are 1/4 x 1/2 beveled allen heads. I'm 75% positive.

you can pick the bolts up at any good hardware store. IDK, but isn't cottage grove south of Eugene???don't know of any good hardware stores down there but that's some drive for a Hurst! lol. Yes, you'll want the flat head allen bolts...and i want to agree with Shane on the size.

HURST FTW!!

Yeah, I'm about 20 miles south of Eugene. I got the guy to meet me in Wilsonville so I didn't have to mess with the metro traffic at 5:00 on a friday. There are a few hardware stores down here, I'll have to check them out and see who has the best fastener selection, then hit up the local parts stores for a boot that will work. Then I just have to meet up with one of you guys for the spacer plate and I'll be good to go.

I just got back from the hardware store, the bolts were metric 6X1.00. I got 16mm long, though I think 20mm might fit.

Trevor, when is a good time to come up and get that stuff?

Josh...got a pics for ya....

These are pics of Trevor's hurst base plate to trans bolts...approx 1/2" in length and approx 1/4" in diam. BUT...the head has 10.9...which means it's Metric. So...I'd assume it's 8mm or 7mm. Possibly 6. lol.
