Icon2 Standard cab Step side Brackets

I need one of these since I am missing one. They are for for a 2dr standad cab ranger.

Letter D on the attached instructions...

Anyone have two even I'd buy, but I can't mount these without the piece....

Thanks,
-Nigel

I just dug through my scrap bin. This is the only surviving one. Idk what happened to the other. Is it the right side that you need? Off of a 2003 edge step side single cab. Looks like mine is the inverse of your's, though. The studs are on the piece itself.

I do need the right side!

Passenger side right?

Awesome if it looks like the above let me know what you want for it!

this seems to be impossible to find and the ford dealership was so rude saying these army an oem part... Calling me pretty much an idiot.

Thanks,
Nigel

Tomorrow after work, I'll get a shipping quote from the delivery place down the road. You only need to pay shipping.

The thing is, is it doesn't look exactly like your piece. Mine has the studs welded to it.

I know this is a classified ad, but the pieces you're looking for are the same as the X-cab 4dr or 2dr front mount. It goes in from the inside of the cab through the foot area body mount grommet. You can make these if needed using thicker sheet metal, bolts, and a welder. I've never seen them with just nuts welded to the bracket, only bolts.

Best of luck on your hunt!!

hmmm that's weird, these don't go inside the body at all. Underneath the truck the goes right behind where the stock front mudflap is, actually right by the bracket that holds part of the mudflap to the frame. Right where that bolt is, the directions state to simply place it in and drop it inside then the bolts go through the bottom of the frame and then just bolt on. Install would take me all of 5 minutes had this piece been in the box...lol

Picture from another member showing the underside.

I guess the only good side is the seller is refunding 50% of my money for these but still all of this could have been avoided.

Thanks,
-Nigel

They do go inside the body, though. You have to spin them into a slot and drop them into a pocket, if you will. You're sandwiching the body between the bracket and the step to hold the step in place.
