Silver HVAC - IN
Up for sale is a Silver HVAC from an Explorer Sport. I think its silver but it almost looks alitte beige. I have it in my truck right now making sure it works. Works just fine. It does not come with the *****. I am looking for $15 shipped OBO. PM me if your interested. Thanks

Cake. You pull the radio bezel and radio. Take four bolts out that go on around it. Then everything just unplugs off the back. Takes 15 minutes tops. At least for me it does. I can post pics of my black one if ya want so you can see what is entailed.

Robert..... does your truck have an electric blend door?? (middle ****, does it 'click' or does it just smoothly 'glide'?) If not, how'd you get the expo to work? I've got a cable blend door and the whole expo unit WILL NOT work because all those expos are electric blend doors. You can however run them on a cable truck by using the ranger backside and modding the expo front side. It's a total bolt-on for electric blend door guys though.
Ty.... The truck it came out of had a silver bezel, silver gauge surrounds, and most likely, a silver accented center console...
.
*Scrambler82 for the pic.

even if it has a cable driven temp, you can just swap the back side of the hvac panel. i have had to do this on a couple panels i have had. but you can just swap the front face plate as well. i have the platinum one on my ranger panel. one little alignment pin needed to be cut off, but that was it.

K. Sorry to spam your thread, Robert. Makes alot more sense to me now. Every time people talk about that hvac panel, they say they're 194's....i keep telling them MINE ISNT!! lol. Good luck on the sale. Good to know it's a direct swap for some and not for others.
I leave the thread with this....see what bulbs you've got in your HVAC panel. If they're 194's like your front corner lights or gauge lights or lisence plate lights, you're good to go. If #74(tiny little bastards!), you've got some modding ahead of ya.
Good luck on the sale.
