OEM Ranger skid plate (SoCal)

I have a stock OEM 4x4/edge skid plate I was hoping to modify to fit my 2wd XLT, but since that turned out to be to much of a hassle its just sitting in my garage. Structurally its fine, there isn't much of the original paint (a can of spray paint and your good to go), and it does have a TINY bit of surface rust. Its literally been sitting in a garage for years by the original owner who went LT and could no longer use it.... which is where I picked it up and in turn placed it in my garage haha.

Im asking $125, local pickup in Temecula only.

* No hardware to go with it, but a simple trip to the hardware store would remedy that problem for under $5.
*This will fit any 98-2011 edge/sport or 4x4 ranger without modification

This is OEM? Did all Edge 4x4's have this? Mine doesn't.

Yep, and nope. Afaik only FX4/FX4 lvl2 rangers had these as standard, for everything else it was an optional extra.

I see. Any chance you've got a pic of a Ranger with this? I searched but didn't have any luck. I was hoping you knew where the original owner had a pic or something.

quit bein lame and just mod this to work on your truck. wouldnt take much. and believe me, sooo worth having a skid

I have no stock edge to compare it to, and holding it under my XLT truck literally makes no sense where the mounting points should be.... and my pic request thread got 0 responses. Believe me I would if it seemed reasonably possible.

i shipped an lund visor and it cost $64 and i know the visor is bigger and weighs more so i dont see how it would cost an arm and leg

no it wouldn't. you just stick the label on the plate and ship it. no need to box it up just like tires.

I do that to **** people off lmao. Yours didn't have much on it. I've sent korey a cruise pod that was probably 6x the original size

With nothing to compare it to it looks like you'd need to fab up lower mounting points and a crossmember with mounting points. "A little" is pretty relative haha
