Now my only hurdle is whether or not I'm gonna fix up (paint) the set I bought from another member or just buy new ones and sell what I bought. (depends on how lazy I am. lmao)
im going to go with you're going to end up buying new ones lol

Chances are, you'll be right.

Ever since I bought them (almost a month ago???), the only thing I've done is plug 'em into a battery to see if the bulbs work (they do), and I've almost gotten the bracket to straighten out all the way.

That was only about 10 minutes worth of work. Then I put 'em back in the box thinking I'll get to 'em another day, and they haven't been out since.

lol

I actually bought one of his T13's a couple years back. This guy is the real deal, very easy to deal with and product arrived on time and with no damage.

You guys are so skeptical lol.

Even why I bought mine he cut me a deal lower than his list price. I highly recommend PTC Factory Outlet. Much cheaper than the comparable bull bar offered my ARB for Tacomas. And just as strong (though minus a few features).

I realize not everyone likes the looks of these bumpers but mine has served me well. Even saved my radiator when I had a rear ender last year. Plus it houses lights and a winch very nicely.

Here's mine just for reference, seems these are no long made (what a shame, since it was the only mass produced bumper manufactured for rangers/explorers).

did yours come with the extra winch plate? or to you make one? Do you have more pics of the setup?

I have tons of pictures and can take more if you'd like. What do you want to see? I can pm some to you. I have a build thread going on another site too.

No I was not aware of a winch plate, nor if one is required. However I have been running and using a winch without a plate now for 2 years with no problems. Probably wouldn't hurt to put back there though. Someday if time ever allows I'll make one.

the oirgnal desgin of the T13 and T17 used a second piece that was a winch plate, to strengthen the front end for winching. It still used the same bumper 4 holes on the front, but it basically double plated it, and had more mounts to the front frame rails.

I found an old catalog for it at work, but I can't seem to find any pictures online.

What site is your build thread on? I wouldn't mind reading it

Unfortunately not from me. It seems now that the remaining stock in the US has been pretty much sold. There is a company called Slee Off Road that sells the TJM line but they were selling them a much higher prices then I was. Which means though there may be a chance they could have one at least.
