Full Length Console with Enclosed Sub & Amp (TX)

I've got a VERY RARE stock full length center console out of an '04 Ranger Edge. It's essentially a standard short console with the front cup-holder insert removed, and a covered sub housing attached in it's place that extends to the dash. I can't use it with my manual transmission, so I'm letting it go.

The Good:
- Enclosed Subwoofer
- Factory Amp
- Factory Wiring
- Good Condition

The Bad:
- Missing Armrest (which isn't too hard to find)

Just got it all cleaned up this morning, but haven't had time to get pictures yet, so here are some "dirty" pictures. "Clean" pictures to follow.

I'm located in San Antonio, TX.

$225 obo

Willing to trade for manual transfer case with shift linkage.

Willing to ship anywhere in contiguous US & Canada.

I believe this was a factory option on the tremor editions. Regardless I know they are rare and the perfect full length console IMO since your don't loose the ability to turn off your passenger airbag.

My edge has it with the sub. I don't think the tremor had them because of the subs in the back.

Hmm....

How big of a sub does it hold? 6"? Is there room to upgrade it? And is it open-air or enclosed? I don't want a bunch of bass but a little bottom-end never hurt. I just wonder if a single 6" is worth messing with, though.

It's 6" and enclosed. I'll have to check to see if you can fit a bigger woofer in there.

I'd entertain that. It would save on shipping, which will be around $50.

I'll get those posted before I sell it.

Someone should write a definitive guide to center consoles and have it made a stickey...

Nice! Ill let you know if I can come up with a decent amount of money.
Its stuff like this that delays me getting frickin tires for my new wheels.
ugh.. i won't feel too bad if someone shoots you a offer first and you sell it...

I'll get my part up, but someone else is going to have to do the rest.

have you heard it yet ?

if it sounds anything like the BOSE spare tire sub, which also houses a 6" woofer, then it wouldnt be too bad, but def dont expect mind blowing bass.
it will sound pretty good and give you some low end, but there will be no "oomph" to it.

I took the BOSE I have for my car, threw it on my truck amp (300w bridged) and it def had more bass than it does in the car with a 100w amp. but you could hear it straining if you turned the volume up much (anything more than 1/4 power and it was strained) so I wouldnt upgrade the amp unless its going to be a better amp with about the same power.
I also highly doubt your going to be able to get a bigger sub in there. maybe a 7" sub (rare, but Ive seen a couple)
all in all, these things are usually designed with specific dimensions, making any changes arent really recommended, and if your just looking for some low end sound and not bumping, mirror rattling bass, then this will do fine. but fair warning, if your any kind of audiophile, it will get old quick
