Final Call: Alon's CB antenna brackets (so. cal) [perfect for shell or bed cover]

I have 13 CB brackets left from a batch of 40+ that need to go. I will NOT be making any more of these after they are gone. I have already sold about 50 of these total and have had no complaints about them. You can use them for flag mounts in the dunes along with your CB antenna as well.

Price is $25/ shipped for one and $45 shipped for two.
Paypal is Alon_mahller@yahoo.com. Please include your RF screen name and make sure the correct shipping address is listed.

I will also accept checks/money orders, please PM me for my address.

Here is a little picture how to, to show exactly what it takes to install one.

If you have already purchased one, feel free to add your picture to the thread.

This is for the mount only, only the bracket that attaches to the truck.

1 sold, 13 left to go.

Hmm, I'll get back to you, I've wanted a CB for a while, but I just spend a load of money this past month.

I have not seen anyone use my bracket under the hood, and I'm not really sure where it would fit.

I found one at a CB shop for like $20 but that is the only place I've seen them other than online.

Don't forget these can also be used to mount the flags for places that require them. Like the dunes and such.

Great quality and really fast shipping. He sent them from California and they got to NY within 2 days.

Yup, I ran a CB antenna and a flag for the dunes while I had my camper shell on, worked great!

i wonder how strong this bracket is with a flag on it. around here we have trees and my flag constantly hits them. I remember someone going in a parking garage with one of these and something got messed up i would assume it would have a similar effect as the tree limbs all though i cant remember what broke the antenna or the bracket

It depends on what kind of flag you are running. I had an 8 foot fiberglass whip with a small flag on it. You have to use common sense with these mounts, everything has a breaking point and everything has a limit.

I ran a flag like this with no problems

the incident with the parking garage ended up ruining something on the antenna if I remember correctly, not the mount. I will try and dig up that thread when i get back home tonight.

"If you're worried aobut Alons bracket breaking at all, it won't. I've already busted one antenna completly off and the bracket is still stong as it was new. Now after this incident I'd say it's hard to break it under normal uses. The antenna will break before the bracket ever does." - outdoorsman

If silverlake sand dunes didn't require the flag be up front i'd be all over it.

Because I do them in batches to make it worth it. By the time I buy the steel, paint, get the torches out to bend them and setup everything, its not worth it to do just one. Every time I run out I have tons of people saying they will for sure buy one, so I make a big batch, and then nobody can commit to it. This is the last of them, unless I get money from enough people ahead of time to do another batch.

This was the second big batch that I made and I feel I have done my duty at supplying the ranger community with these...lol

As of now, this is the final call... If in the future I can get a group to prepay, it may be a different story

Good answer Alon.

I have one and its been great so far. As a matter of fact I was in a parking garage tonight and my CB antenna was taking a beating on the ceiling and I was thinking about how good my bracket was.
