I don't have any made up, but I can do them.

The older style ovals are getting harder to find & I'm not able to keep very many of each size/color on hand, so I do them on a custom pre-order basis.

Have had mine for a little over a year and they have about had it. The glue in between the painted base and painted emblem has started to release causing bubbling inside. Lasted quite awhile though.

Aw man! Sorry to hear about that
I'm not sure why they'd do that so soon. I've got a couple of the first one's I did that have been through several summer/winters & still look nearly as good as the day I did them.

Yours had the silver background, didn't they? It could be the silver paint isn't as durable as the other non-metallic paints

Yeah, they do. I think it is our extreme heat that did it. 100+ temperatures on a regular basis in the summer.

Ouch!
I kinda know that feeling right now though, last couple days here have been 104* & 105*... hottest I've ever seen it.

I bet that kinda heat is hard on every kind of paint out there

Might, I'll take pictures of mine. They are both doing the same thing.

2013 Pricing Update

I've been holding off as long as possible, but with the postage increases & the availabilty becoming harder to find ovals to mod... I have to bump the final cost of all the custom ovals up a little.

4 1/2" wide ovals = $30 each + SH/INS
4 3/4" wide ovals = $30 each + SH/INS
5 3/4" wide ovals = $40 each + SH/INS
7" wide ovals = $45 each + SH/INS

Those prices include either chrome or painted bases & your choice of several color combinations.

Note: 99% of the chrome inside the Ford letters & insert area becomes damaged during the disassembly process, so it's very rare that I'll have a perfect (or even a really nice one) oval that has all the Ford chrome lettering intact. When I do have one with good chrome, I'll try to update the thread here with the size & pricing of those "good chrome" ovals as they're available.

Note #2: I'm only able to mod ovals during the warmer months when the temps are above 60*. I've tried painting them in colder temps with mixed results, so I'll just be modding them in warmer weather from now on.
