Not trying to be a dick, but you can order up brand new kits from eBay for about $38 shipped ($76 for 2 kits) with a warranty... Just sayin...
I know you'd like to get close to what you paid for them, but prices have dropped a lot since everyone started running them... My first kit I ever bought (and still am running 4 years later) was $180... No way would I ever get that much for them...

I'd rather buy used heavily used morimotos for even more than the cost of a brand new set of ebay HID.
Quality, Quality, Quality...
A thread that looks like this: "HID's for sale" is the same as a thread saying "Used car for sale - its got 4 wheels and an engine". What model, what make... ect..

It depends on what he's selling.

Three years ago, I dabbed my foot in the world of HID for the first time.... $250 for a kit.
Then I purchased another kit for my other bike... same quality, for $140.
This past summer, I purchased 4 kits for $40-$50 each. Same quality, no problems so far.

Correct, but each brand is different.
My 3000K HID kit on my bike throws a much more yellow beam than my 3000K kit in my fog lamps on the Ranger. Looking at each one head on, you can tell the headlights are 3000K... but looking at the fog lamps on the Ranger, you can't tell. BUT looking at the light beam on a wall or road, you can tell it's yellow.
It's strange and it's always bugged me. lol

3k is 3k depends on the housing the most. Granted some might be alittle more yellow than others but nothing plays into it as much as what the light is in. I'm not trying to rip anyone off I'm just trying to pass on some good lights to someone else. A number is there to get a starting point and we can go from there. With that being said send me your offers and let's pass these on before I break them while they are sitting on the floor lol.

google image 3000K hids and you'll all get your answer if you're so antsy. Like steve said, it all depends on the housing in which the kit is installed. I have a set in my fogs and they're great.
