Need Hurst Extension
Just installed a hurst shifter, love it, but it sits a little low for me. Anyone have an extra shifter extension that they would be willing to part with. Im not picky, anything would be better than where it is now...

you BL'd or not?
Best thing to do is put the shifter in neutral, figure out how much higher and how far back you want the new ball location to be. For me on a stock truck, a 1 1/8" back/1" up/ 1/4" to the driver.

There is no Milling to do. A hack saw and drill will do the trick.
Make sure that there is a boot to cover all of the extra steel, also make sure the stick is bent or adapted back far enough.
There are also replacement sticks, I bought one that is taller, bent back more and towards the driver just a little.

If you were closer I could cut one in a few minutes.
As far as the Stick, look at Hurst #: 5388022, it is $60 at Amazon but on a special I got it for $30. this one comes back 7.5” (I think) and kicks over to the driver a little.
I wanted it in Black but couldn’t get it; I may still try to sandblast the stick and paint it black.
I found this one was not exactly what I wanted so I made a 2” x 2” square out of ¼” Plate, drilled holes to mount to the Ford Shaft on one side of the plate and the Hurst Stick on the other and moved the stick 1” closer to the seat and 1” higher.
Everyone to their own on fit and feel.
