For sale Hurst 391-5020 shifter for 1988-03 Ranger, may fit others.

Installed into my 2003 FX4 for one week, GF hated it so i had to remove.
Boot never installed.

Comes with all parts, manual and box.

Paid $220 from summit, will take $180 Shipped or can meet within 20 miles of Hunt Valley, MD

The shifter is basically as new as it has no more than 100 miles of driving with it. I never installed the rubber boot or trim rings.

My guess would be that it would fit newer rangers as I installed a tranny from an 06 when the original one had a bearing fail at ~210k and it worked with that one.

The GF is worth more than a $220 shifter (most of the time)

As for fitment of the Hurst shifter, it'll fit all Mazda trans equipped trucks. The first of those were in the early 90's and I believe all 94+ trucks it'll fit.

Lol everyone who has ever had a Hurst shifter is like "I wish I would have gotten the FX4 LII shifter. I don't like the way the Hurst feels." or "It's too noisy." I'm not surprised no one bought it. Most people hate them.

 

Seriously? I've seen overwhelming number of posts raving over it, saying its the best thing they've done to their truck. I'm surprised it didnt go much sooner too
