Most common is a swapping in a level 2 axle and explorer discs or an expo axle. Yes its 4.10s

 

For $100 it might be worth the trip for spares; 6 hours though, long trip.
Good Luck on selling it, it is a nice axle for a Ranger Swap and anyone in the area with a Ranger should get up and buy this axle, great price.
The price is cheaper than the extra parts for an Explorer Axle.

 

I understand. Well if you decide to scrap it PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE pull the passenger side shaft and I will pay to have you ship it to me plus I little extra mullah for your time and metal weight. You know how hard it is to find these things and I am in desperate need of one.

If this was for sale when I bought the Alcoa's in VA I would have driven to NJ and got this. Can't believe it didn't sell at $200. Definitely worth it.
