Single cab on extended cab chassis

The in cab wiring should be relatively the same you may have to adjust the tach if yu have one i know v8s require you to move a pin to a different location in the harness but idk if the 4cyl is different from the 6 the only thing you may be lacking in the 2wd cab is the wiring for the 4x4 switch and controller which can easily be added from the other truck or you may have it my 4x2 has the blank pigtail behind the radio you just have to splice in the controller. But since you have a complete 4x4 to pull from you have all the parts you should need to be fully functional.

I can't wait till the weather gets better to tear into this project ,I'm either gonna have a ausome super long box ranger or render the truck useless lol ,but it seams pretty straight forward ,the only difficult thing would be building the bed ,I'm not gonna touch the rest of the truck till I get around any figment issues with the new fab bed

yes ! the 2007 ranger was offered with the single cab , long box option
personally i would locate this vehicle and purchase it , instead trying to do what you are intending
