Ranger XLT Crossmember Lift???
I know no one makes them and if I had an edge I could just use the 4wd kit, but I have a 2wd xlt coil sprung ranger. I have a 1 inch spacer, 3 inch lift coil, 3 inch spindle, and I need more. I was just under my truck wondering....I figure the drop down brackets should be pretty easy. I am more concerned about the steering arms, what do I do? Im worried they will not have the right geometry once it has been lifted that much. I just skimmed the installation instructions for the superlift 4x4 ranger kit and I didnt see any obvious fix for the dilemma. If it is a problem, I figured they fixed it with the new spindles but I dont know for sure. other than that I can see making an extender for the upper ball joint and getting some longer coils made and that should be it, any comments??? Ohh, and I was only thinking about 4-6 inches of drop for lift. my goal is 40s without rubbing.

-Off Topic- I don't believe I have ever seen pics of your whooptie, you need an Avatar or a link to a cardomain page or something.
I dunno man, you're getting into pretty uncharted territory. You are like one of maybe 3 or 4 guys with 4x2 XLT's that have that much lift already. Hopefully some one can answer your question. I dont wanna see you stuck with oly 36's lol
