Making my own PCB Multi-LED corners.

I'm going to be making a few sets of corners. I need to buy a few and open them up to separate the body from the lens so I can make a PCB LED circuit board and attach it inside.

Has anybody tried these corners? I think it would be nice because the entire lens looks distorted and it would somewhat hide the circuits from the naked eye. My concern is if anyone has tried to separate these particular corners before.

I can chose the "black" or "chrome" ones. In the end the internal part will be painted body-color to match the trucks I have.

Just make sure you throw a Vreg or constant current driver on there or else the LEDs will get brighter/dimmer with the engine rpms. I have made several custom setups for peoples motorcycles and believe me it will make a difference in looks if that is what you are going for. I don't know what your electrical experience is, so forgive if you already know this stuff.

If you need descent priced LEDS try moreleds.com If you found comparable brightness ones for less let me know! It is a mom and pop type operation, and they are easy to deal with. I get all my LEDs through them. Allelectronics.com also has good stuff and good prices. REALLY good prices, most of their stuff is from liquidations I think. I bought 5 original NES power/reset switches from them once!

Good luck with the project!

I am using sharp low-loss vregs. I also will have a pwm built for all the running light circuits for adjustable dimming.
