dude man thats excatly to a t of what im looking for all i really wanted was ideas and you just set it off i appreciate it you pretty much have excatly the same set up im running with i have the tool box and the tonneau cover with the whips did you bolt it down to the cab or the bed?

i bolted it to the bed, it 2x2 square tubing, thats all i remember, im adding two more light holders soon and makeing the mounting system better. right now its flat bar and angle, im making it all angle and make little boxes so i can just slide the toolbox up to the boxes so its in the same place every time

no way in hell would you ever want to bolt it to the cab, bolt it to the bed

yeah i would never bolt it to the cab i wouldent trust any mounting system, the thing weighs so much

and if you mount it to the cab it will probably leak, it doesnt matter if a bed leaks

i could be wrong by this, but i think what he means by headache rack light bar would be a headache rack with a strobe bar on top, we have a few police vehicles around here with that exact setup, and i am thinking about getting one for mine (not red and blue, necissairly)
