Give me some ideas! lol

Ok, since I have decided to add a/c to my ranger, I have ordered or have done:

Power doorlocks/windows w/ alarm system - coming soon!!!
Tint- just put that on today! :D
OHC and mirror! Coming soon!
A/c system, awaiting a big box from a very cool duder! Thanks NeedforSpeed!!!
LED dash mod - Done! Me likey!
Line-x - in the bed the day I bought it!

So, what else can I do?! :) It's only a 2wd, 2.5l 4 banger manual. I like tasteful mods... nothing like spinnas or dubs!

Thanks!

Well I would say drop it a little and add some Bullitt Mustang wheels. They look nice on Rangers. But you usually need a spacer in the front.

I can do that! It's a vanity that I'm spoiled by with my cobra (and last 2 mustangs..) :p It's the little things that I miss and I think that's why I neglect my truck.

I would put a lift on it and some bigger tires, but it almost seems like a waste, as the 2.5l is kinda a dog?

I notice you are in ohio.. i'll be there in July... if you are near the WPAFB area, that will be my stompin grounds for awhile! :D

Again, with the 2.5l being underpowered, would that be a wise choice? I would love to do a 4.0 or (depending on the move) a 5.0 swap. I would like to lower it and do some bullits, as they can be found for pretty cheap if you know where to look.

The only other thing holding me back from doing that is my girl things it's retarded to lower a truck... I tried telling her it would be to improve the handling on the ranger... she then reminded me of the cobra sitting outside! lol

I forgot to add that I have 2 jl10w0's (old, I know) and a whopping 300w amp pushing it. :p I should upgrade the stereo, as I do want more out of it.

Just lift it and put it on 33's. Maybe a gear change also.

It seems you have a nice cobra also. Come over and visit @ www.svtsnake.com, #1 cobra site on the east coast.

Oh, and I put on the power window and alarm/power door locks today! Pretty straight forward if you are mechanically/electrically inclined. There were a few things that I had to "think out of the box" on, but it was pretty easy. :)

although, I felt like an ***... I finished up paneling up the interior at like 10pm, popped the fuse in and tested it... then I proceeded to clean up and in doing so, I must have hit the panic button, the damned thing was blaring loud! I couldn't figure out how to shut off the system, so I just pulled the fuse before a neighbor threw a rock at me. lol

Tomorrow will have me installing the exploder OHC/mirror, a few a/c parts and messing with the alarm.

I'm still not 100% sold on lifting the 98.. It's only a 2.5l, and bigger tires would only make it slower :(

I think those last set of rims really set his cobra off! :D

Well, over the last 2 days I installed:
Power windows (finally)
power door locks (alarm)
OHC
I'm waiting to do the mirror as it won't slid onto the post on the window for some odd reason?? if I can't scrape it off tomorrow, I'll just glue them together somehow.
