With extensive modification either will work. Personally I think the stock '04 Ranger grille looks better than both of those anyway.

i think the explorers are wider now.. you'd have to do a lot of fab work to make it fit on our trucks

I doubt you will get the new explorers to work but you may stand a chance with the sport trac. I would just keep your ranger front end tho.....it looks more aggressive.

you would have to section the hood grill and bumper since they are wider
even the sport tracs are wider. really its more work than iys worth unless youre doing a full blown custom which youre not

i think it would be awsome to have a ranger with an explorer front end..like said up there im not doin a full blown custom..i just like being different..there are no other trucks that would work..

i could do a Mazda front end but i dont like those that much sorry brenton

How about no, still too wide to be direct bolt on, if you have the fab skills this could be accomplished.

I don't think Evan is eager to do anything new to the front end since this thread is almost a full year old

I dunno, my mom has an explorer sport...and everything is different...even the front fenders aren't the same...

I can take some measurements and double check if you want though...just LMK

Don't think anyone's mentioned this but Fiberwerx makes a fiberglass bolt-on explorer front clip for 900 + shipping for the "extreme flared" version. It looks friggin' kickass.

I'm too lazy to find the pic, but I think it's in my Myspace pics.
