So which mirror will you be using? I only know where the OHC temp sensor is, its behind the driver side headlight on the header panel.

i would assume that they would use the same sensor... if i can find one at a jy that has the compass and thermo, i will grab that one, if i can't find one, i will just use the auto-dim only

lol wow, I just checked ford's site, with installation its 4xx lol wow. I want the mirror I have no use for more storage, My console holds all my stuff.

i'm on the same page as you, you would be able to wire it yourself, just don't try to do anything fancy... there is a step by step somewhere on the internet... like everyone said, there is only 3 wires...

yeah, I seen it before Nothing fancy here! I just wanna know the temp while im driving haha

i hear ya! i think the one with the compass and temp would be a little more tricky... i might have to find a different brand of mirror (dodge/chev) if the fords don't have temp in them...

check that dudes mazda link, the sell them with temp and compass in the mirror for 1847, which isnt really a bad deal because it comes with autodim too

true, it's a pretty good deal, but i can go get one from a jy for probably less than $50... no shipping, and i'll have it right there and then

If your gonna try to junk yard it Silverados (and other GMs probably) have the temp in the glass.

I had a Auto dimming /temp/compass rear view mirror installed at Ford dealer from their dealer installed item parts list. I'm not good with pulling the head liner down and getting it hooked up to some power or fixing what I broke in the process. I know there is a sensor you need, they mounted mine to the back of front grill.

It was around $260 for the mirror and install. there were 3 different types to choose from. I know the parts manager so I got the mirror at his cost.
