Anyone see any of these? and if so, what were the specs? like which engine, hp/torque, swapped outta wut, etc. i've seen a couple of vids but either they're the 83 ish rangers or the ones from brazil or w/e with the 3.0L stock, im curious about this for my own possible swap...

........Oh God,I remember the diesel from the factory, '83-'84 had a 2.2 diesel, and '85-'87 had a 2.3 turbo........back in '83 we had a 2.2 diesel Ranger for a "parts runner",what "POS"!!!!!!!!!,and the 2.3 was not much better, not many were built(thank God)...........I wouldn't even waste my time throwing rocks at 'em!!

I love the idea of a powerful and efficient diesel engine in a Ranger, 4.0L turbo would rock!
But correct me if I'm wrong, if you ever rolled a diesel it would continue to run until it blew up. I think thats why people who off-roading their diesel's are converting to propane.
That is one sweet as Bronco, one of these days I'd like to own an early 70's Bronco and drop a 5.0L FI motor in it as I don't think I could afford to build a Cummins 4BT, and dam that thing is 700lbs, but 28-30mpg!
