i meant the mpg of lowered vs. lifted.

I have a 2wd and its a 4 banger. It's lifted. I did need new gears. It was worth every bit of $$ I put into it. It is a very capable off road rig also. XL2.3 im sending your pm right now.

Lift... another 2wd, 4-cylinder checking in... I'm running 31's with 3.75's and it's a little sluggish off the line, but you'd be suprised how well it does. Lift, for sure...

Eh, I wouldn't lift a 4 cylinder 2wd. But hey that's just my opinion, good luck in whatever you decide.

ok

1st...if your doing a 5inch lift, you gotta go bigger then 31s, it will look crappy

2nd...that is a horrible picture of a 3/4 drop, might want something more real

3rd...who really cares how you do it? I mean, its a truck, its going to look good no matter which way you go, so go the way you want, you wanna lift it, lift it, you wanna lower it, lower it

Personally, I started with a 2/3 drop, then a 4/5 drop, and then a 5/5 drop all on 17s and 245/45s

Now im rolling a 3inch suspension lift and 3inch body on 33x12.5

and yes i have a 4banger

aight maybe go a more moderate/cheaper way, like the 3/2 lift for $350 and either get new a/ts for like $550ish or get ones g'sevo is selling with the rims for $600,, yeah i know my ps arent the best,, so now looking at $900 plus install for a 3/2 vs $1200 plus install for a 5/4,, should be about edge height then,,

not all lowriders are bad if you do them right.Ive had 6 s10 lowered finally done the last 2 right using coils and spindles in front with mono leafs and shackles in rear with drop shocks.man what a difference.I have had lifted 4x4s and lowriders my last 4x4 was a 2000 ranger with 4.0 running 33in tires it got around 10mpgs and now have a 01 ranger with a 3.0 soon to have a 4/5 drop with 18 in rims.to each his own but i like to ride around to much and if you dont have gas money then your not riddin!if you lower it do it right with springs and spindles and mono leafs out back.bags are for sissys. If you lower it just use more caution when out running around.at 50mph hitting a manhole cover in a construction zone with your skidplate really hurts, trust me I did it before
