Cheap Ideas Needed

Hey everyone, my last truck I left stock but I just got a new one and I want it to look good. I don't have a lot of money and I'm definately into doing things myself. Any ideas/tips on how to make changes without spending a lot? I also have a warranty I'm trying not to void... thanks!

Cheap mods....

"blinker mod"(free! well...less than like $2), blacked out headlamp housings/corner housing are off ebay and are around $140 shipped, mirror mounted turn signals(thunderbolt ones are about $40, I made my own using clearence lamps for under $20), air-box mod(cutting up your stock air box).

Those are some good ones.....many many many more as well.

Headlight mod yourself... cost me 2 cans of black paint, and use of the oven (but keep a eye on them or you will have to buy new headlights)... cut 60/40 seats to 40/40, only cost is thread to sew the fabric back together...

I'm curious as to how long the paint will last. Anyone done this a long time ago, and the paint is still holding up?

I wouldn't take the emblems off, theres 2 holes behind them that will be left over.

Nope. she said she wanted idea, she didn't specify if she wanted good or bad ideas. That was a bad idea.

imo...

Your truck needs those black Xtreme Alloys 8069 wheels.....16" or 17". eBay black headlamps, color matched mirror caps, niteshaded tails and 3rd brake light, black low-profile toolbox, STX/08 Sport grille, DJM 4/5 drop.

At least, that's how i'd build your truck. lol.

These wheels(not exactly cheap)....

^^Niteshade is the act of tinting of a lense....... Niteshade is actually the brand of a product that is sprayed onto taillights, headlights, and it tints them. Basically tint in a rattle can.

3" Body Lift and 33's will look best, try not to "junk it up" with small stick on accessories.

Yeah... I wanna stick with chrome and black... no more orange... and you're crazy if you think I'm covering those mirrors! However, when I lift it I will be getting black rims... I'm thinking niteshade taillights will be soon though

Dont forget the Explorer Overhead console! Thats pretty cheap, and is my favorite interior mod next to my stereo system.
