Haha. Yeah i dropped it off for paint today. Im so excited to get it back i hate waiting. I painted the inside black also.

 

So you guys really have to pay another $500 for paint? That sucks.

I say go for it, but only if it is the right canopy. Some of them really look like crap and ruin the look of the truck. Get something with nice side windows (tip out instead of sliding) and a nice frameless rear window, and tint the windows dark.
I like the solid fiberglass sides on lowered trucks but not white, only on dark colors.

 

again i've never hear of the hard ones that are made of fiberglass called a canopy. a can-back one or softoper style with roll up sides is what i would call a canopy. those like what freddie posted are called caps. at least where i'm from....

I say doit. But as previously stated, it has to be the right cap to look good. heck I almost put a cap on mine, but decided against it, cause it would weigh more than I want to haul around every day.
