Cab marker lights underneath light bar-possible alternative??
Do you have an LED light bar above your windshield? Are you a fan of cab markers? I had an idea to "replicate" some roof marker lights (the sort a superduty would have) without installing the actual lights & housings onto the roof of the truck. Basically it involves attaching some sort of tiny LED light like this https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...ent-light/639/ to the underside of a light bar that's mounted around the windshield line. Maybe four across, facing the roof, wired to the parking lights or a switch, whatever one might feel like doing. Another possibility would be a to use small sections of an RGB LED strip wired to a controller, that way you could run whatever color you want.
Of course you would need to have a light bar first. And it may not look good without a lens to capture the light, those lights in the link are pretty bright & may just end up illuminating the dashboard/windshield/roof.
The lights would be attached to the underside of the light bar in this picture in a manner that would be undetectable until it's turned on.

**disclaimer** this is NOT my truck and I am unsure who is the owner, I'm using this for reference only
What do you think? Have any ideas? Drop the whole thing?
