First, the 02 FX4 I have is what an 03 FX4 LII is.
I can't tell you all the true differences in an 03 FX4 and an 03 LII is, but essentially the 03 FX4 is the 02 4X4OR package. the LII's had beefier Torsion Bars, the ****box torsen limited slip (I hate em with a passion) and the Bilstein shocks, which mine were replaced prior to me buying it with some other shocks. Mine, like I said in the PM, does have a torsion bar crank, but I didn't do it. The previous owner did, so it saved me some work. I'm honestly pushing the envelope with my 33's and no lift, in fact come this spring I'm throwing a body lift under it to bring it to proportion as well ans sole some of my rub issues. I've also thought about going back to a 32 until I can do something in the form of an SAS or superlift.

I've been such a big BFG fan, swore by em, and all that... till I got my MTR's. I love em. They have decent road manors, good amount of grip for crawling, and not that loud of a tire either. The only complaint I have with them is they SUCK on ice and in shallow snow. Get any kind of snow above say 4 inches, and they're incredible.

My Coopers are pretty much the same way. It's just because they are an M/T tire which is more of an all season tire really. They don't have the soft tread like a snow tire does, which is where you get your grip from, unless you want to run your MTs on the road with like 15-20psi which definetly isn't good for tire wear and fuel consumption.

this was stock with maxxis buckshots 32x11.50-16 they were alittle tight, but worked great.

And this is still the 32's but on 04 rims and a 3" suspension lift

ive heard that putting widder tires than the cars original without any mod to the steering can cause some damage. for example small bumps when steering after a while of use with the bigger tires...... for my next set of wheels id like to put some bigger but jus dont want to scrw my steering.
if anyone could help out on this issue.. thanks
